Comments: I tried to do it myself. Fail! Wasted so much time! Could have had my 501c3 status months earlier....so I hired FGFS and had to little more than write a check for a nominal fee! From a convoluted 1023 app that took me months to prepare-and I still failed, to little more than the stroke of a pen, I had my status lickety-split!

Comments: I found Floyd Green Financial Services on the Internet in October 2013. Their prices were extremely reasonable. After a short initial phase of ascertaining our appropriateness, there followed a phone call discussion in which they asked me questions regarding my non-profit. They were very efficient with our application and always available to answer email questions. The whole process was painless. Comments: Floyd, Tina, and Ksenia were there for me when I thought I would be the ONLY application that would not be approved. It took 8 months from the initial 501c3 filing until approval. Prior to that I went to an accountant who is an animal lover, who was extremely kind and compassionate, but would have done us all a huge favor if she was just honest by telling us that she never did this before! And she wanted money for not knowing what she was doing! That was 5 months down the drain, and total frustration. She fudged her way through the application, and it was ALL WRONG. Even the initial State Incorporation was wrong. You cant just go to an accountant, or an attorney. I don't recommend that you even go to an attorney, as many of them just don't understand the mission process. Nor do they have any inkling of an idea how to file a 990 EZ return! That needs a numbers man! YOU must go to someone that specializes in the 501c3 application, like Floyd. FGFS did a PHENOMENAL JOB. Somehow, someway, by my lucky stars, I found Floyd Green Financial Services on the web. It was a night of wine and web, crying for help, and not knowing where to turn. Till I found Floyd. I phoned and got Tina. Initially I asked a lot of questions, and I know she was thinking I was just picking her brain. I could tell she was a little surprised by my many specific questions. By now, my second time around, I knew the 501c3 application inside and out. And I was just as surprised! I just couldn't believe that I actually found a highly professional competent accountant on the web! I called Tina back, thinking this is too good to be true. Although, Tina said we can do all of the questionnaire on the phone, I choose to make a face to face appointment in August of 2013. I really could not believe that I had found the answer. The application was ready to be mailed one month later, September 2013. I initially RE-did the State Non-Profit organization on my own, with very little help from an accountant who claimed she knew what she was doing...and she knew NOTHING! Take it from someone who did it over 3 times, in 6 months..at double the cost than it would have been had I just given it all to Floyd....Don't bother doing it on your own! Save your time and money! My 501c3 application was ready to be mailed, but my Non-Profit State application was still pending! Be kind to yourself! Just Give it all to Floyd and sit back...patiently... Ksenia kept telling me to be patient. It was the patient part that I had the most trouble with.. I called the I.R.S. every month, asking if the application had gone to a determination specialist, YET..being the key word, and asking what month they are working on. The initial I.R.S. letter stating that you will hear from them in 90 days is meaningless. The staff at FGFS all kept telling me they have 100% approval rating, and I would be the first failure..But I could not help thinking that I would be the first failure. There are NO FAILURES with FLOYD. Floyd Green Financial Services is a true winner with Proven Results. Thanks to Floyd Green Financial Services, we will be able to save hundreds, hopefully thousands of Animals Lives.
